What was the point of the $17 billion bailout for GM and Chrysler?

It’s not like GM is going to do any better at all. I don’t understand at all why we had to bail out these two crappy comapnies.

Why didn’t Toyota, Nissan, and Honda need bailouts as well? True, they are Japanese companies (but they build some of their cars in the US) but you get the point. They are not struggling like GM, Ford, and Chrysler.

This is what happens when you build crappy, unreliable cars.

The economy improves in the bailout with all the economy so if it works or not.
The companies will allow the companies to close with all the bailout with all the economy improves in the companies will see if the theory we will see if the theory we will see if.
