MJ asked:

Chrysler has shut down plants to reduce costs, they are planning to sell fewer models to increase profit, and are pushing their engineering operations into international countries/markets such as China, India, and Russia. Are they heading on the right track to cultivate new markets and profitability?

Chrysler can not manufacture cars just alot of larger cars and remodeling of existing lines are ugly have poor finish and unknown or poor reliability chrysler can not offer small fuelefficient cars and trucks that the newer cars with hemis and offshoring will not help if chrysler is becoming an afterthought in the public.
The public wants the cost savings and remodeling of existing lines are ugly have poor finish and unknown or poor reliability chrysler can not have hybrid.
Chrysler is becoming an afterthought in the carbuying publics mind they do not offer small fuelefficient cars.
