what happens to the chrysler retirees who are on supplemental pay? will they lose there pay?

my dad took a buyout and is on supplemental retirement since he is not yet 65. what will happen to his pay since chrysler filed bankruptcy and are now selling their assets to fiat? will he lose it? anyone have any experience with this? thank you.

      It’s going to depend on the sales deal.

      I can tell you, that typically when companies go bankrupt, any supplementals or pensions not insured, are gone.

      And any health insurance benefits are gone, too.
