The front left wheel speed sensor is the abs sensor. That year car may come with the sensor built into the wheel hub. your speed sensor is the turbine and out put transmission sensors. There is a possiblity that the hub or sensor is damaged, it happens, but make sure you ask for the old part back BEFORE they start the repair and make sure you get it. Just to make them honest and if the repair doesnt work then you can ask them why and still have the old part if it turns into a legal issue
